We update topics related to routine vaccinations, children, teens, seniors, pregnant women, COVID-19, among others. Always remember the technical aspects, that is, the schemes, the age, the goal is to serve the patient with quality and every time the user arrives at the health unit, the professional knows which path to follow in care and guidance, ”explains the spokeswoman, Elaine Alves da Silva .

Among the topics covered in the training: Basic concepts of vaccination. preservation, transportation and distribution; safe preparation and administration; waste management; vaccination related records; adverse events after vaccination; Vaccine Room Stewardship Checklist, Vaccine Updates, Guidelines for Operational Procedures, among others.

“Today we have more than 20 vaccines offered by the SUS, in all life periods of the population, which brings a lot of information, rules and responsibilities to primary care health professionals. The course is essential to deliver quality and protection to society,” explains Health Surveillance Supervisor Claudia Regina Engelmann.

The training was in collaboration with the SMS servers. “For me it was incredible, it refreshed me, and Elaine’s explanations helped a lot, because they are very educational and made the topics more accessible and understandable,” notes Evelyn-Natalie Rocha-Costa, Health Agent at PSF XVII Vida Nova.
