    A stage show at Teatro Toca, in São Paulo, some sessions of O Que Só Sabe Juntos were canceled after Tony Ramos was unexpectedly hospitalized. Initially, the show will not only air this weekend, from May 17 to 19, but will have to go on hiatus until the actor fully recovers. The artist underwent surgery to drain a clot in his brain on Thursday (16).

    Information about the cancellation was posted on Toka Theater's social media, which confirmed that it will provide more details to the public soon. The dramatic play, directed by Luiz Vilassa, stars Ramos and Dennis Fraga.

    On Instagram, the actor's fans left messages of affection and hope that the veteran would recover quickly. “Health to our dear Tony Ramos!” wrote a netizen named Fernanda Leonel Correa.

    “God protect you! Tony, the best and greatest actor in Brazilian drama! Come back soon!”, announced Margaret Thomsen. “I wish you a speedy recovery, dear Tony, your beautiful family (which I love very much) and we are all radiating health and light and waiting for you,” Valeria Borges wished.

    What happened to Tony Ramos?

    Tony Ramos underwent cranial surgery on Thursday afternoon (16). The 75-year-old actor, who recently joined the cast of Terra e Paixão (2023), was admitted to Samaritano Hospital, in Botafogo, in the southern region of Rio de Janeiro.

    The medical bulletin stated: “Samaritano Botafogo Hospital informs that actor Tony Ramos underwent surgery to drain a subdural hematoma today. The patient’s condition is stable.”

    The information was first reported by O Globo columnist Anselmo Goes, and has previously been confirmed the news With behind-the-scenes sources, the artist’s family told G1 that the surgery was performed to drain a clot in the brain.

    The procedure was performed by neurologist Paulo Niemeyer Filho. Tony felt unwell in the morning, so he canceled his appointments and sought medical help.
