John Cena’s recent call to London to host WrestleMania echoed in the English Parliament. John made a surprise appearance at Money In The Bank in London on July 1 and expressed his desire to bring the legendary event to the UK capital.

Alex Davies-Jones, Member of Parliament for Pontypridd, Wales and co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Committee on Wrestling, responded to Cena’s call. He was enthusiastic about the idea, highlighting the potential economic benefits for the UK.

“I want that to happen. APPG is already discussing how we can help make this a reality in any way we can by facilitating some conversations. We will do everything we can to make the UK attractive to host world-class wrestling on the international stage. We will use our contacts and negotiating skills to approach WWE, We will encourage conversations to promote the UK as a great destination for high profile competitions,” said Alex.

Triple H acknowledged Cena’s appeal during the Money in the Bank press conference. He noted the challenges of hosting WrestleMania in the UK, but also revealed the company’s intention to expand its international reach. “Never say never,” he concluded.
