Prince Harry has moved his official residence from the United Kingdom to the United States, permanently severing ties with the country of his birth. A change has been made to the records of his permanent travel agency, Travelist, and another cut in Harry's relationship with the English royal family.

This happened when King Charles asked Harry and his wife Meghan Markle to move out of Frogmore Cottage, a property given to the couple by the late Queen Elizabeth.

Although the change to the main residence was made on June 29, 2023, it was added to the Travelist company's electronic records this week, according to British newspaper The Telegraph.

Harry Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and moved from the United Kingdom to California. According to royal experts interviewed by the British press, King Charles' request for the couple to leave Frogmore Cottage is disappointing for them, who consider the country home the “only safe place” for them and their children.

According to royal writer Bill Dampier, the official change of address was a way for Prince Harry to express his anguish. According to him, in an interview with local newspaper The Sun, “a lot can be read into Harry's actions”, saying that being kicked out of Frogmore Cottage “hurts him deeply” and that he “accepts that he has a life”. America”.

The news comes after the Duke of Sussex lost an appeal against the British Home Office, which sought to remove his police protection because he is abroad.
