Photoburanga records 37 more cases of Covid-19 and two deaths from the disease

Photoburanga recorded 37 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday (6), according to the Epidemiological Bulletin issued by the City Council. The report also included two deaths due to illness.

Among the victims was the elderly 77-year-old Octavio Laurencetti. Mr. Octavio, better known as “Quitinho”, was a resident of the Residencial Morini II neighborhood and worked as a builder before his retirement. A widower, he leaves his children Louise and Marilda, grandchildren, granddaughter, as well as other family members and friends. He was buried on Thursday (6), at 11 am, in the cemetery of Parque Jardim das Flores.

The other victim, according to the leaflet, was 68 years old, and had comorbidities.

This brings the total number of deaths in the municipality to 306 deaths due to the disease and 11,538 cases diagnosed from the disease since the beginning of the pandemic.

Suspected and hospitalized cases

Also according to the report, the municipality has 36 people with Covid who have been hospitalized, of whom three are in UPA (Emergency Care Unit) and nine are in the field hospital. Of those admitted to hospital, 16 are critically ill in the intensive care unit (ICU).

The data also indicates that the municipality has 577 constituent languages ​​on suspicion of Covid-19 waiting for test results and another 656 with mild symptoms of the disease, thus remaining under home surveillance.

Vaccine Scale

According to the “vaccination scale”, Photoboranga used another 750 doses of the immune system against COVID-19. Of these, 452 were first doses and 298 were second doses.

Now, 36,758 doses have been implemented in the municipality: 22,890 first doses and 13,868 second doses.
