The Samu-Cresamu Regional Federation, through the Mogi das Cruzes Region, promoted the first workshop on advanced practices for nurses, in the auditorium of the University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC). Specialists from our region and from other regions were in charge of the course and the lectures.

Alto Tete specialists, including the municipalities of Mogi das Cruzes, Arauja, Piritba Mirim, Guararema, Salsópolis and Santa Isabel, participated in a training course with a 12-hour workload, where they were trained and qualified to enhance patient care and improve clinical understanding of emergencies and emergencies.

In training, nurses participated in practical stations for intraosseous puncture, defibrillation, and use of supraglottic devices—tools developed to maintain airway function in respiratory failure or other dangerous situations. Hector Trevor, General Coordinator of CRESAMU, explains:

In addition to the practical class, professionals received legal and legal training and guidance for the use of new technologies available for health services. “This has been a reality for a long time in countries such as Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, which reach Brazil through Cofen, allowing for the training and professional growth of nurses to serve the population,” explains the SAMU nurse. Regional, Jose Luis Pizol.

New training and professional improvement meetings are being prepared. “We still have a lot to do, but the big difference in providing services to citizens, without a doubt, is the education of health professionals,” says Pezzolle, who perfected the training and participated in it as a speaker.
