Italy closes its airspace to Russia

Italy announced on Sunday (27) that it will close the airspace of Russia and other European countries.
And the United Kingdom, Finland, Ireland, Belgium, Austria and Germany announced, on Sunday, the closure of their airspace to Russian aircraft. And before them, since Friday (25), other European countries have already announced the same measure, such as Poland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Estonia.
Against the latter, the Russian Civil Aviation Agency (Rosaviatsia) responded to the measure with the same ban.
The shutdown is another step by Europeans and NATO allies in response to Russia’s attack on Ukraine and increasingly isolated Moscow from the world.
In addition to closing the airspace, Italy has announced that it will send 110 million euros in humanitarian aid to Kiev.
