People are asked to go to a hospital emergency room only in cases of extreme need.

The service capacity of the Márcio Cunha Hospital, in Ipatinga, has reached critical levels and is operating at maximum, due to the outbreak of dengue and chikungunya affecting the entire state of Minas Gerais, as well as the Vale do Aco region. Monday afternoon (19) by the São Francisco Xavier Foundation (FSFX), which runs the hospital.

“Therefore, Hamad Medical Corporation requests the cooperation of the community and advises them to seek urgent and emergency care in the hospital emergency room only in cases of extreme need.”
