British research reveals negative points in the Santiago Bernabéu gaming experience

One of the biggest stadiums in world football, the Santiago Bernabeu is one of the best stadiums in the world. Despite such popularity, the iconic home of Real Madrid does not please all visitors.

According to research carried out among British fans, the ground offers a “terrible gaming experience”, with hostile policing, limited facilities and a poor view of the competition.

Fans of 9 English clubs who played against Real Madrid recently took part in the poll. The survey, co-ordinated by the UK Football Policing Unit (UKFPU), aims to provide guidance to British fans traveling abroad.

Manchester City and Chelsea fans, for example, describe policing around the Bernabeu as too confrontational and unprepared. They also highlighted the delay in accessing the interior and exiting the grounds.

Apart from Real Madrid's home, stadiums in Italy and France also received negative ratings from fans who participated in the analysis.

According to research, the organization of stadiums in Germany was pioneered by the British. The quality of policing and game management, according to them, makes the gaming experience great.
