    With the recent expansion, the list of countries where the Nomad debit card is accepted has become: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Switzerland, in Europe; Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uruguay in the Americas; Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Israel in the Middle East; Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, Asia; and Australia in Oceania.

    According to Director of New Business Development, Ernani Assis, this expansion is part of the fintech strategy in the international tourism sector, with the aim of strengthening the position of democratizing the lives of Brazilians with dollars and facilitating the journey of travelers to other countries. “Savings on international travel and the possibility of making international purchases are gaining greater mobility with the acceptance of the Nomad Card in countries in Latin America, Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Asia and Oceania,” adds Lucas Vargas, CEO of Nomad.

    With the expansion from 20 to 40 countries where the Nomad card can be used, fintech is beginning to serve more Brazilians who want to save on travel and international purchases. Today, fintech already offers differentiated costs, with varying values ​​achieving savings of around 10% and an IOF of just 1.1% on transfers to supplying accounts.

    The expansion of Nomad Card acceptance allows customers who already have a 100% digital dollar account to transact in 40 countries, including the United States and Brazil, accelerating the global trend of digital payments. “The circulation of banknotes is decreasing every day, especially with the advent of tools like Pix. In addition, daily operations, such as transfers and bill payments, will become simpler all over the world. For other countries, Nomad aims to help Brazilians get better access to foreign currencies. at a lower cost through our platform,” concludes Vargas.

    In addition, in this new phase, Nomad is also beginning to offer physical service points in Orlando, Florida, at the Premium Outlet and soon in Miami. In the space, customers with questions, problems, or any other issues related to Nomad can be dealt with and problems solved there. In this space there will also be coffee and water, as well as checkout bags so customers can shop without carrying too many bags, and the customer who passes gets a discount coupon book to use at the outlet for free.
