The Kurumba Health Department opened three stations for its multi-vaccination campaign on Saturday, March 2. Dengue vaccine doses are available for children and teens ages 10 to 14 years.

Qdenga (TAK-003) is an immunomodulator developed by the Japanese laboratory Takeda Pharma. Vaccinating agent registration was approved by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) in March 2023.

The vaccine contains live attenuated dengue viruses. Therefore, it stimulates immune responses against the four serotypes of dengue virus. The vaccine is administered in two doses, with an interval of three months between applications.

With different opening hours, the three points set up for multiple vaccination will also provide doses of immunization agents from the national immunization calendar.

Vaccination points for this Saturday:

*Ladera Health Center

From 8 am to 6 pm

*UPS Simon Flores

From 8 am to 1 pm

*Conjunto Vitória Régia Community Centre

From 8 am to 12 noon
