The UK is trying to combine Covid-19 and the flu vaccine

An Oxford factory will try to combine a Govt-19 and a flu vaccine, The Telegraph revealed.

The Vaccine Production and Innovation Center (VMIC), a British government-sponsored program that opens this year, seeks to combine a Govt-19 and flu vaccine in an effort to reduce production time.

In addition, the combined COV-19 and influenza vaccine will facilitate the delivery process, especially if future doses against COV-19 are required.

“This will save us a lot of time and make it more convenient to get a single dose of vaccine, so this is something we and vaccine manufacturers will be looking at,” said Matthew Dutchers, CEO of VMIC.

“If we need to give a seasonal vaccine, and people need a dose of the flu, a dose of Covit-19 and something else, it would be desirable if we could all combine it into one vaccine,” Duchers said.

VMIC covers an investment of 200 200 million (over ில்ல 1.5 billion) by the British government. When it is in operation, it is capable of producing 70 million doses of the vaccine in four or five months.
