The mother tries to save her son and they both die after falling off the ferry

On Thursday (29), a 7-year-old boy and his mother died after falling into the sea from a passenger ferry, from a height of 20 metres, in the Baltic Sea.

According to Extra, Swedish authorities stated that the baby fell off the ship that was traveling from Sweden to Poland, and that the mother instinctively jumped into the sea to try to save him. They were taken to a helicopter and taken to a hospital in Karlskrona (Sweden), but they did not resist.

“Unfortunately, in the morning we received information from the Swedish side that we must pass on this terrible news to the family, because both the boy and the woman died,” police spokesman Marius Ciarca said, according to The Sun.
