More than two million PicPay users have issued a credit card with a limit tied to their balance

Hey PicPay It launched a new function in the app at the beginning of August that allows digital wallet customers to obtain a credit card with a limit linked to their account balance or a specific “piggy bank” to use immediately, with the bill paid within 40 days providing greater financial stability for users.

Through this dynamic, the purchase amount made by PicPay is blocked in the Piggy Bank designated for card transactions instantly, automatically and intuitively, with a return of 102% of CDI. PicPay customer can pay the invoice with the saved amount or another payment method.

This new method allows to build a good financial history for those who do not have a pre-approved offer or are negative, and can advance to other lines depending on usage.

According to information received from the company, within just one month of launch, more than 2 million cards with a guaranteed limit were issued, confirming the interest of Brazilians in this most versatile option. It is expected that more people will request a credit linked to their balances in the coming months, increasing the popularity of the PicPay card.

“We already knew it would have a wide following, but the numbers surprised us positively.
