From Monday, Luxembourg will tighten rules for travelers from the UK. Testing and isolation are essential.

Due to the prevalence of the Covit-19 (formerly Indian variant) delta variant in the UK, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health last Friday issued strict rules for visiting Luxembourg.

As of Monday 7, travelers who have traveled to the UK in the last 14 days should take a test for Govt-19, which can point them to labs in the UK.

This rule applies regardless of the length of stay or the route you take to Luxembourg. Those arriving by plane can get a free trial at the finale. Upon arrival in the Grand Duchy, a period of isolation of at least seven days shall apply.

On the sixth day of isolation, another test may be taken – if this option is denied, the 14-day isolation period will automatically apply. Individuals entering the country from the UK should contact the health inspector by email ([email protected]) or by phone (247-65533).
