    The Family Health Unit (USF) of Cota 200, in Cubatão (SP), has created a Family Health Unit. Sleep Health Group, An initiative that aims to combat insomnia naturally without the use of medication. The group meets every Thursday of the month, from 8 am to 9 am.

    According to data from Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), 72% of Brazilians suffer from sleep-related illnesses, including insomnia. The Sleep Health Group was created by physician Beatriz Boisio with the participation of psychologist Viviane Barbosa.

    According to Boisio, in a memorandum published by the Cubatao City Council, good sleep improves mental performance, cognition, mood and memory.

    During the meetings, breathing techniques, meditation and music therapy are practiced, in addition to being a space in which participants can share their personal experiences.

    To participate, you must register in person at USF Cota 200, located at kilometer 50, on Passarela II street in Rodovia Anchieta. The health unit is open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
