According to the statement, the continuity of partnership for green and inclusive growth was reaffirmed.
The partnership also seeks to develop a bilateral strategic dialogue on climate, with the aim of strengthening environmental cooperation ahead of COP30.
“Brazilian ministers agreed to hold technical dialogues on the action agenda at previous COPs and options for COP30 and options for advancing the priorities and actions of previous COPs and Brazil's G20 Presidency.“, the joint statement said.
An international summit on the future of energy security will be held in London in 2025 by the IEA (International Energy Agency). One of the main concerns expressed was that the increase in global average temperature was below 1.5°C.
