    Accumulate the state of Minas Gerais 1,616,876 confirmed cases of Covid-19since the beginning of the epidemic. The data was released on Saturday (5), by the State Department of Health (SES) Epidemiological Bulletin.

    Minas is still monitoring suspected cases of disease variants across the state. There are 682 consecutive samples so far, with origins in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Manaus and Rio de Janeiro.

    The health network remains under pressure due to the progression of the epidemic. Until this Saturday, 268 people are waiting for a place in the intensive care unit, in Minas.

    The occupancy rate for Covid exclusive care, in this type of family, is 81.75%. As for dispensary care, the occupancy rate is 78.76%. SES data, updated Friday.
