Ford has announced the end of production of the Fiesta. The last unit will leave the factory in Cologne, Germany, on July 7.
The reason is not low sales or lack of audience, as Ford will remove the Fiesta from the production line to make room at the factory for the Explorer EV electric SUV. The plan is for this plant to work only with battery-powered vehicles and be the automaker’s first carbon-neutral plant.

- The highlight is the ST version, with a 200 hp Dragon 1.5 turbo engine and a manual transmission.
- There are also mild hybrid versions, with a 16 hp engine helping the 1.0 Turbo in urban situations.
