In July 2023, I received news that completely changed my routine: an MRI diagnosed a proven tumor in my central nervous system.

My name is Tasian Stucci, I am 41 years old, I have been married for 16 years and have an adorable 6 year old daughter, Francine.

I decided to consult a neurologist, as I felt some symptoms related to headaches, dizziness, and some limitations in motor coordination that were more severe.

After I got my MRI results, the report said that there was a brain tumor on the left side of my brain, which was putting pressure on me, causing me to lose my strength, affecting my vision and body motor coordination, making it impossible for me to do anything. To practice my skills. Daily tasks and work with my job as a factory worker.

However, I continue to undergo consultations and examinations, as the tumor I suffer from is complex, and in order to be more safe and precise without damaging any important part of the brain, treatment can only be done in… CEPON – Cancer Specialty Hospital in Florianópolis SC 600 km from Chapeco where I live with my family.

With this tumor, I can’t work. And how independent I am. I was left without income. Financial conditions are difficult, I pay rent, and I have a young daughter, as I previously described. My husband is unable to bear all the expenses on his own.

That is why I came to VAKINHA to ask for your cooperation in my treatment. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a big difference. Share my story with your family, friends and coworkers.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story, God bless you and your family!
