Part of the Hospital Madre Regina Brotman, in Santa Teresa, in the Serrana district of Espírito Santo, was intercepted by the Civil Defense due to the danger of collapse, after the collapse of a nearby private business and reached some hospital wards.
The charity has a service linked to the Unified Health System (SUS) and serves residents of the city as well as neighboring municipalities.

And the hospital stated, in a statement it posted on social media, that as of eight o’clock this morning, Wednesday (23), visits to the emergency room are suspended, in addition to elective surgeries. The recovery period is 48 hours.
“The emergency plan has been activated to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff. Until the situation returns to normal, we will focus our services on patients who are already hospitalized in our unit,” the memo said.
The hospital also advises that during this period residents seek other urgent and emergency services.
