Paraná Institute of Technology (Tecpar) is accredited to conduct tests for rabies sera that are accepted in Europe, America and Asia, a total of 36 countries. The test is a legal requirement for Brazilian travelers who want to take their pets (dogs, cats, ferrets) with them on international flights.
In line with the most stringent international standards, the report by Tecpar meets the requirements of 27 member states of the European Union, four countries of the United Kingdom, as well as the United States, Switzerland, Norway, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. Tecpar was also the first laboratory in the Southern District accredited by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to perform serum testing on companion animals for the USA.
