British Consul learns about InvestBH
The process of implementing InvestBH, a program to attract investments to the capital of the state of Minas Gerais, follows the schedule of presentations to stakeholders who may become future participants and investors in the project. Last Tuesday, it was the turn of the British consul in Minas Gerais, Lucas Browne, to learn about the proposal. At a meeting at the headquarters of TSX Invest, a company involved in the project, President of the Chamber of Shopkeepers of Belo Horizonte (CDL/BH), Marcelo de Sousa e Silva, CEO of TSX Invest, Paulo Eduardo Pinto and Commercial Director, Flávio Leite , as well as the company’s technical team, details the project to the consul and also how British involvement could be in potential cases of state investment in the city. Brown was interested in strengthening the UK’s relationship with the mining capital.
Workshop “Draw with me”
Painter Santiago Regis teaches Tomorrow, at 10 a.m., the “Draw with Me” workshop at the Minas Tênis Clube Library. On this occasion, participants will share the drawings that have been made, tell them what they thought of while drawing, and what they want to tell the drawing. Therefore, the Santiago Regis Workshop aims to explore this intuitive process of narrative painting for children. The little ones will sit in a circle and will be encouraged to draw in a short period of time and with random words that will be drawn during the workshop. The words will be taken from a text that will be revealed only at the end of the practical part along with a conversation about the process. The surprise comes at the end of the exercise when everyone can see different angles and interpretations of the same story.
“Little Prince”
Next Sunday, at 5 p.m., the Francisco Nunes Theater will host the children’s show “O Pequeno Príncipe” by Cubas Producis Artisticas. The play is inspired by the works of French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, first published in 1943 and has since been considered a classic that delights children and adults alike. Tickets range from R$20.00 (full) to R$10.00 (half) and can be purchased at www.diskingressos.com.br or at the box office two hours before the show. The activity follows health protocols to control Covid-19. The musical “The Little Prince” tells a story of friendship, freedom, love and loss, and has delighted children and adults for generations.
