    The state of São Paulo, if it were a nation, would have been the third most vaccinated country against coronavirus in the world, with 83.69% of the population having a full vaccination schedule, compared to countries with the same or a larger population of 40 million people. Sao Paulo comes after South Korea (86.57%) and China (85.48%).

    Vaccination with additional doses has also grown in recent weeks, with more than 21.3 million doses applied. According to the Press Association, São Paulo is the state with the highest level of booster dose application, with 45.32% of the population, ahead of Paraíba (36.44%), Mato Grosso do Sul (35, 84%) and Rio Grande. Do Sol (34.9%). In Brazil, 31.81% of the population received the booster dose.
