    R.The United Kingdom announced on Thursday that there were 50,867 new cases of Covit-19 and 148 deaths related to the disease, 51,000 new cases and 161 deaths, slightly lower than yesterday.

    This is the fifth time in a few days that 50,000 new cases are being reported daily in the country, according to data released today by British health officials.

    According to British health officials, 249 cases of the Omicron variant were reported this Thursday, bringing the total to 817 confirmed cases in the country.

    With the numbers released today, the country has reached 10,660,981 cases of Sars-CoV-2 already confirmed since the epidemic hit the world. The UK has not yet mourned the deaths of 146,135 people infected with the virus.

    It is also known that 21,715,504 people in this country have already taken the booster dose of the vaccine, for a total of 119,539,198 vaccines are being distributed to UK citizens.
