Mayor Sergio Vidigal (PDT) announced Thursday afternoon (29) that he will grant a 23% increase in the monthly food ticket served to servers in Serra. With the adjustment, the benefit becomes R$ 650, which is roughly the same as the minimum wage.
According to the municipality of Serra, the adjustment is 5 times that of inflation, and as a result, the municipality now has the highest ticket in the greater Vitoria area, in Espírito Santo. The idea, according to the municipality, is to grant the ticket increase where the impact of inflation is greater.

“Regarding public servants’ appraisal policy, today we made a very important decision. Usually municipalities are simply interested in giving a reward that they cannot repeat.
