USB ranks among Latin Americans in world university rankings

USB is the best Latin American university World University Rankings British Advice Times Higher Education (THE). The rankings were released today, September 1st 2021 World SummitIt takes place between September 1st and 3rd.

At the same level as last year, in the 201-250 group, USB is on par with institutions such as the University of Waterloo (Canada), the University of Surrey (UK), the University of Korea (Korea) and the University of Tel Aviv. (Israel). Of the five types of indicators, USB ranks among the top 100 in the world: teaching and research.

At the top of the list are Oxford University (1st), California Institute of Technology (2nd) and Harvard University (3rd). In the top ten, nine belong to American companies.

In total, there are 59 assorted companies in Brazil. Campinas State University (Unicamp) ranks second among Brazilians in the group between 401-500.

In its 18th edition, the ranking evaluated more than 1,600 higher education institutions from 99 countries. The evaluation took into account 13 indicators compiled into five categories: teaching, innovation, internationalization, research (volume, investment and reputation) and quotes (research influence).
