R.Britain and Ireland are on the verge of winning the race to host the 2028 European Championships, considering the lack of competition they face in the process, according to information presented by the British newspaper this Saturday. Daily mail.

As in the controversy over the 2016 and 2024 matches, Turkey is keen to host the tournament in order to avoid another defeat, but the publication writes that it should withdraw soon.

Russia is also planning to host the European Championships, but in the wake of the military invasion of Ukraine, sanctions have made it a ‘baria’ based on the game.

The same release further states that although applications are open until September 2023, the governing body of European football may decide to complete the process in advance and declare the United Kingdom and Ireland as winners.
