The United Kingdom and Ireland are competing with Türkiye to host the 2028 European Championship

The United Kingdom and Ireland officially announced on Wednesday (12) their joint candidacy to host the 2028 European Cup, and presented the stadiums they intend to use to host the matches if they win the dispute. UEFA has also received an offer from the Turkish Football Federation, another of which is interested in having its country host the European Team Championship.

The United Kingdom proposes the use of stadiums throughout its territory. Without Old Trafford United and Anfield Liverpool on the list, the stadiums chosen in England were Wembley Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Etihad Stadium (City), St James' Park (Newcastle), Villa Park (Aston Villa) and Everton's new stadium.
