UK health officials have launched an investigation into a strain of Covit-19, also known as “Deltacron”, also known as Delta and Omigron, which is considered a new variant, according to a recent report by the UK Health Safety Agency. (UKHSA).

The document, which still covers, examines whether hybrid mutation is the evolution of a patient suffering from delta and omigran disease simultaneously or some other form of integration. Another thing is to find out if the infection is community or if something was imported. There are no details on how many deltacran cases there are in the UK or whether it is highly malignant. The UKHSA is examining whether or not mutations should affect the effectiveness of vaccines.

Despite the uncertainties about the new variant and whether the combination of strains will mitigate the effects of something as dangerous as the delta – it is difficult to say. However, Margaret Talcomo, a pulmonologist and researcher at the Brazilian Fiocross, signaled that the outbreak in January this year could be a sign of moving towards an end, but warned that this explanation should be viewed with caution.
