UK Ambassador-in-Charge Melanie Hopkins says the aim of the program is to identify and support future leaders in all sectors. We are looking for young people with leadership potential to study with future leaders from different countries,” he said. Selected students will have the opportunity to expand their network of contacts and study at prestigious universities.

    Selective process

The selection process is divided into two phases. First, the applicant registers through the program’s website and fills out an online form with the courses they wish to take. It submits the required documents, which include degrees, academic records, university acceptance letters and letters of recommendation.

In the second stage, applicants are invited to an interview in English at the British Embassy (in Brasilia) or in cities with a British Embassy (Belo Horizonte, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre and São Paulo).

In the last cycle of the program (22-23), 50 Brazilians from 15 Brazilian states were selected. They will travel in September to study at 24 British universities in England, Scotland and Wales.
