    FAPESP Agency – Until 30 April, the British Council is accepting applications for postgraduate scholarships awarded under the Women in STEM programme, which aims to provide educational opportunities for women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

    A full scholarship is awarded so that researchers can pursue a master's degree in the United Kingdom in 2024, all expenses paid. Students can study at Aston University, University of Birmingham and University of Essex.

    Candidates sought: identify as women or girls; Be able to study in the United Kingdom in the September/October 2024 to 2025 academic year; Can demonstrate need for financial assistance; hold a university degree allowing entry into one of the pre-selected postgraduate courses at a UK university; Able to achieve the English level required for postgraduate courses at a UK university; are active in the field with professional experience or demonstrated interest in their field of study; Interested in the course and willing to participate as dedicated British Council Alumni; have not previously studied in the United Kingdom at undergraduate or postgraduate level, nor have they recently resided in the country; After the scholarship ends, return to Brazil for at least two years.

    Women from Brazil have the opportunity to apply to two universities in the United Kingdom and compete for one of ten available scholarships.

    Registration must be done directly at participating universities with the links contained herein British Council website. After completing the application, the candidate will receive messages directly from the university regarding the status of the application.
