Rayssa Leal’s boom on the internet continues to do well for Skate Fairy. Silver medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the skater was the athlete who gained the most followers and engagement (on Instagram) in the world. At the age of 13, Rayssa has never outgrown anyone other than Simone Biles, the biggest name in artistic gymnastics.

The survey analyzed conversations, follower counts and interactions from the athletes’ Instagram and Facebook accounts between July 23 and August 8. Risa Leal, with her photo album celebrating her silver and a video of her journey in the sport, was the most liked post on Instagram throughout the Olympics, considering all the athletes who were in Tokyo.

And if the sporting performance of Brazil in the Olympics is highlighted, the performance on social media was not absent. Brazil was the third country to comment and participate in the Olympics on Facebook, according to the survey, after only India and the United States.
