We are constantly seeking immediate ways to achieve a healthy state in our lives. However, we often overlook the simple behaviors that can be incorporated into daily life.
Deolinda Boyer Gomez, a resident of Rua Carmelo Zuccoli, in Cabinzal, has been walking every day for two decades, even at the age of 71.
In an interview with Cabinzal FM, she explained that this practice is directly linked to improving your health, and provides benefits such as increased resistance, strength and readiness for daily activities.
She stated that the daily route includes the center of Cabinzal, especially along Ernesto Hachman Street to the community of Villa Anchieta, within the municipality. The absence of this practice occurs only on rainy days or when it is very cold.
Deolinda also confirmed that her exercise routine is not limited to walking; for about thirteen years, she has been going to the gym.
She revealed that she does not use controlled medications, as she does not suffer from any comorbidities, and only uses medications to relieve occasional pain in her arms.
Finally, she advises those who do not exercise yet to start in a moderate manner, because this will bring great benefits to those who exercise.
