Pro-independence parties secure majority in Scottish parliament |  UK

As expected, the Scottish National Party (SNP) won Wednesday’s parliamentary election in Scotland. Nicola Sturgeon said shortly before the results came out that the party of the Prime Minister of Scotland would do everything possible to ensure that a new referendum would take place, even if the absolute majority was narrowly missed. The majority of those who escaped from the SNP were protected by all political organizations that defended secession.
