Prime Video announces the broadcast of the quarter-finals

The Copa del Rey is dwindling more and more from its grand finale, with eight teams now chasing the title of the second most important national championship of the season in Brazilian football. See below for the competition’s quarter-final matches:

Prime Video has announced that it will exclusively broadcast the first and second matches between Fortaleza and Fluminense, valid for the Copa do Brasil 2022 quarter-finals. The first leg will be on Thursday, July 28, with the preliminary match starting on the streaming platform. 7:30 pm. The ball will roll at 8:30 PM (Brasilia time).

The return duel will take place on August 17, on Wednesday, and the preliminary match will begin at 7 p.m. The referee’s whistle will start at 20:00.

Matches are broadcast exclusively by Prime Video with narration by Thiago Levert and commentary by Casemiro Miguel, Clayton Carvalho, Marcelo Raid, Marcio Menegini and Pedro Moreno. The streams bring in the highlights before and after the match from all the duels. During the entire competition, games are available to watch in the Copa do Brasil tab on Prime Video.

Altogether, in this version, Prime Service subscribers in Brazil will be able to watch 36 matches of the Copa do Brasil tournament, from the start to the Grand Final, without paying an additional fee for it. In total, 30 matches will be an exclusive live stream on Prime Video and the other six matches will be broadcast in a co-branded manner.
