Artificial intelligence has affected our lives in many ways. An amazing example is the story of Greg Motion, a man from Seattle, USA, who managed to lose 12 kilos and change his lifestyle with the help of OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Greg, like many of us, admitted that he hates running. That changed with the help of ChatGPT. Skeptical, he decides to try the exercise plan suggested by the chatbot.

Surprisingly, the AI was able to set up a routine that suited its needs and desires. Even simple initial steps, like placing your running shoes near the door, were effective, getting Greg’s attention and encouraging him to stick with the plan.

    First mile and drive

On Day 30 of the plan, Greg hit a major milestone: his first mile, just over 1.5 kilometers. This was a great motivator for him, who began to find pleasure in physical activity.

“Every race was within my skill level. I went at my own pace. After every race, I started to feel good and because I never went over my limit, I always felt like I could do more,” Gregg explained.

    Life style change

Greg’s weight loss is more than just a number on the scale. It’s a lifestyle shift. Motivated by his six-year-old daughter, he found the ChatGPT plan the motivation for a healthier life. Today, he trains six times a week and has seen improvements in his aerobic capacity, resting heart rate, and overall mood.

Greg’s story is a showcase of the potential of artificial intelligence to help people achieve their health and wellness goals.

Although AI does not replace a dedicated professional, the case highlights the power of technology in facilitating changes in behavior and lifestyles.
