MTur has issued a R$56 million credit for tourism
MTur has issued, this Tuesday (4), more than R$ 56.4 million in credit to the tourism sector

Through the General Fund for Tourism (Fungetur), the Ministry of Tourism issued, this Tuesday (4), more than R$ 56.4 million in Credit to the tourism sector. The amount can be invested in business, working capital and the purchase of tourism equipment.

Companies interested in Apply for credit You must be registered in the Registry of Individuals and Legal Entities (Cadastur) operating in the tourism sector. These companies can apply for credit through three financial institutions: Banco Regional de Desenvolvimento do Extremo Sul (BRDE), Agência de Fomento de Goiás and Badesul.

Since the beginning of the year, MTur has delivered more than R$200 million through 380 contracts. The states in the southern region of the country have contracted more than R$155 million in credit and more than 89% of the companies that applied are micro or small businesses

Investments in cultural tourism

MTur is also allocating more than R$24 million to build the first Indigenous Events Center in the state of Roraima. With the aim of expanding cultural tourism in the Boa Vista (RR) region, the building will be part of the Road of Cultural Landmarks and promote local commerce.

This work will provide enough space for indigenous communities to share their culture, traditions and knowledge with visitors, while generating economic opportunities and promoting sustainable tourism in the area. We believe that this initiative will contribute to the preservation and appreciation of cultural diversity in Brazil, as well as to the promotion of more inclusive and informed tourism.”
