Travelers who want to take advantage of the Easter holiday to take a few days off are facing widespread cancellations of flights to and from the UK. With the low number of employees due to the Covit-19 vulnerabilities, British Airlines justify the cancellation of flights.

According to The Independent, British Airways and EasyJet alone were forced to cancel at least 100 flights. London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports, its main bases, have been hit hard by staff shortages.

British Airways has announced that flights will be canceled for passengers within a week or two, with no cancellations on the same day.

There are no flights to or from some of the Portuguese cities on the list of flights canceled by British Airways and EasyJet.

Flights canceled by British Airways: Aberdeen, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Manchester, Amsterdam, Venice, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Berlin, Budapest, Toulouse, Brussels, Dublin, Barcelona, Barcelona, Leon.

According to EasyJet, flights to and from Milan, Naples, Nice, Copenhagen, Verona, Montpellier, Budapest, Berlin, Amsterdam, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Olbia and Privesa were canceled.
