Senior members of Kate Middleton's team have been banned from entering the Princess of Wales since she underwent abdominal surgery in January this year.

According to the newspaper “Extra”, members of the royal family are not aware of Kate's health condition. According to Kensington Palace, she is recovering at Adelaide Cottage.

A source told Us Weekly magazine that the palace is “very quiet” about the condition of the future UK Queen: “Some of Kate's senior staff haven't been able to see her or speak to her and didn't even know about the surgery until it was announced, so it took them by surprise. Only a few people know what “It's really happening and stay silent.”

The source also stated that only selected people, such as King Charles III and Queen Camilla, were allowed to see Kate and that her health condition was covered by a “veil of secrecy”: “It is confusing and causes some concern.”

A person close to the family told Page Six: “The rumours, especially on social media, have gotten out of control, but Kate is recovering well and will be back by Easter. She just needs to be left alone.” (fullpress)
