Marika recommends that residents update their SUS card

The Municipality of Marica, through the Ministry of Health, highlights the importance of maintaining data on the National Health Card (CNS), popularly known as the “SUS Card”, which is an essential record for access to health services throughout the network. . This procedure is available from Monday to Friday at the designated Family Health Unit (USF), which serves the user's area of residence. To make the update, it is necessary to provide an identity document, CPF, proof of recent residence and SUS card. In the case of children, the birth certificate can be used as an identity document.

Updating is crucial for those who have changed their addresses, made changes to their phone numbers, or have outdated information on their SUS registration. This process is essential to ensure that residents continue to have access to public health services, are accurately identified, and are integrated into the health care area in which they reside, as well as receiving important information, such as scheduling appointments or procedures.

If the user is not yet registered with the particular USF, he must also come with the above-mentioned documents to perform the initial registration, where basic information will be collected. After that, the community health agent responsible for the area of residence will make a home visit to confirm the place of residence and verify the validity of the registration.

It is worth noting that the SUS card can also be accessed through the “Meu SUS Digital” application, which is available for free in the Android and iOS app stores. In the application it is possible to view a variety of useful information, such as health service appointments, vaccination history, examinations performed, and a list of appointments. In addition, it is possible to record allergies and contacts, which can be viewed by healthcare professionals when necessary.
