During his performance at the Rolling Loud Festival, DaBaby caused controversy by asking fans to light the stage with their lanterns. “If you come here today with human immunodeficiency virusAnd help Or any of these sexually transmitted diseases, they’re going to make you die in two or three weeks, so put your cell phone on,” he said at the time.
The rapper continued the insults: “Ladies, if you smell good, light your cell phone. Man, if you’re not sucking p…in the parking lot, put your cell phone light on. Up.”
DaBaby’s concert video echoed on social media with criticism of the rapper who, according to Hip Hop DX, tried to explain himself through an Instagram Live, noting that he was interacting with his audience, “gay, straight or damn.”
