On October 10, Glenn Hughes began the British leg of the “Glenn Hughes Classic Deep Purple Live” tour. The main attraction of the tour is to celebrate 50 years of the bassist and singer’s first album “Burn” (1973) as part of the hard rock giants.
The backing band consisted of Swedes Soren Andersson (guitar), Ash Sheehan (drums) and Bob Fritzema (keyboards).

After the turn of the year, Hughes will return to devote himself to recording his next album, Black Country Communion. The supergroup also features guitarist Joe Bonamassa, keyboardist Derek Sherinian and drummer Jason Bonham.
