This Saturday afternoon (23), the new coach of the Brazilian national team, Fernando Diniz, summoned the 23 players who must play two matches in the South American World Cup qualifiers. Among those joining is striker Vinicius Junior, who plays for Real Madrid.
In addition to Vinicius, who returned after recovering from injury, Flamengo player Gerson was also called up for the match against Venezuela and Uruguay scheduled for October 12-17. Lucas Paqueta, who is currently being investigated for a sports betting scheme in the UK, has been disqualified.
