A Newcastle court on Monday found Antonio Neal guilty of racially abusing Brentford striker Ivan Toney after the player scored two goals in a Premier League win over Brighton in October 2022.
Antonio Neal sent racist messages through Instagram and Tony shared the attacks he received on his profile. Following the revelation, the Vadapalani police conducted an investigation. In January this year, the 24-year-old was found guilty of the offences.
The racist who attacked Ivan Toney on social media in October was banned from all grounds in England for three years on top of a four-month suspended sentence that was valid for two years.

This Monday, Antonio Neal was banned from attending any football match in English stadiums for three years and received a suspended sentence that could mean two years in prison if he commits another offense in the next four months.
Antonio Neil lives in Robert Street, South Shields, North East England. His punishment applies to all major divisions of English football, including the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and National League, not just the England national team.
“Discrimination has no place in society, whether in our communities or online. It will not be tolerated and we will do everything we can to bring the perpetrators to justice,” said Superintendent Scott Cowie of Northumbria Police.
