Erizar electric buses in London and Krakow

Erisar electric buses will operate on the streets of London and Krakow, serving Go Ahead London and MPK Krakow, respectively.

E-Mobility Erizar has signed contracts for the supply of 20 buses electricity Go to London and four to MPK Krakow (Miejskie Przedsiebiorstwo Komunikacyjne), with an option for another three.

In the case of the British capital, Go Ahead London has decided to award 20 units of the 12-meter-long tram model for use on Line 358 in South London, which will become the first unit to be operated using high-speed and casual buses. .

In addition to the vehicles, which should be delivered by the end of 2022, the contract with Go Ahead London also provides for the provision of the charging infrastructure, which will consist of two 450kW superchargers for the line stations, and two 100kW superchargers. With a capacity of charging two buses simultaneously with a capacity of 50 kW to the collection station. The equipment will be provided by Jema Energy, a subsidiary of the group iris.

Equipped with Irizar’s own batteries, the buses will have three doors and will be able to accommodate a total of 91 passengers, including 26 seats. The vehicles will be equipped with PMR solutions and areas for wheelchairs, to facilitate access and fluid movement within the bus.

The batteries will be charged using an inverted pantograph or at the collection station, using the Combo 2 charging socket located on hub 1. The chargers will be provided by Jema Energy, an Irizar Group company.

In terms of security systems, these buses have complete CCTV systems, people counters and blind spot cameras, among other devices.
