Dacia is offering a commercial version of the new Duster in the UK

Aimed at those who need more load capacity, the new commercial version of the Duster offers the rear seats to reach more than 1600 litres.

After Dacia revamped its entire range, with a new logo and sophisticated image, now comes the commercial version of the Duster, presented by Dacia of the United Kingdom.

From the outside, the only difference is that the rear windows are opaque, hiding the cargo compartment from prying eyes, but otherwise, it’s a Duster like any other. Not even a version with all-wheel drive is available as an option, nor is a version that includes a dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

On board, the change for the commercial version sees the rear seats removed and replaced with a flat floor. A metal divider is added between the two spaces, hexagonal openings to “peek” behind, a cover for the loading area, which protects the paint, opaque film for the rear windows and the alarm.

The entire area behind the front seats has a flat floor, with the same height as the rear door loading plane. The space is now 1623 liters and the load capacity is 503 kg. All this, in a robust model, there are no great difficulties in reaching areas with more complex access.

To facilitate its use during the daily routine, there is no lack of an entertainment system with the possibility of connecting the phone via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. In the UK, the range has two trim levels (Essential and Expression) and is available with two 90 or 150 hp petrol engines and a 115 hp diesel.
