Covid-19: Juiz de Fora occupies 80% of the SUS ICU family

According to the update of the epidemiological bulletin issued by the City Council of Guiz de Fora (PJF) on Saturday (15), the municipality has reached 80.52% of the occupancy of beds in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Unified Health System (SUS)) dedicated to cases of Coronavirus.

According to the data, the municipality also reached 390 simultaneous admissions of patients with the disease, an increase of 2 from Friday’s report (14). Thus, the occupancy rate of intensive care beds exclusively dedicated to Covid in Juiz de Fora is 80.36%. As for the SUS Wing, the ratio is lower: 60.63%.

In the private network, the figure is 76.86%, including cases of Covid-19 and other diseases. As for the general percentage, by adding public and private networks, the index is 79.38%.

In its weekend epidemiological bulletin, the city of Guise de Fora did not update the numbers of confirmed cases and deaths in the municipality. The data will be published again on Monday (17).


PJF also released data on vaccination progress on Saturday. According to the city council, 2,523 people were vaccinated with the first dose of the Covid-19 immunization, while 118 people completed the vaccination with the second application.
