Campina Grande Airport gains new temporary boarding area from Saturday (14)

To facilitate the progress of the structural works promoted by Aena Brasil, which will enable the expansion of operational capacity, Campina Grande Airport will have a new temporary boarding area. From Saturday (14) until April, users who will be boarding will have to follow a new indoor flow in the passenger terminal and will be directed to the temporary space.

The new boarding area is located inside the Presidente Joao Suasuna Airport Hall, in the old arrivals area, which has already undergone renovation. The change will allow the current departure lounge of the terminal to be closed temporarily, in order to continue expansion and adaptation work, as well as to enhance the alignment of operational flows in accordance with the new aircraft yard.

The temporary boarding area will also contain all the components necessary to provide passengers with a safe and comfortable journey at Campina Grande Airport. The space offers users new bathrooms, air conditioning and a fire extinguishing system.

We are in a very important phase of the construction work that will raise the quality level of the airport. This change will enable improvements to be made to the existing departure lounge and will bring more benefits to passengers. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience caused by the work, but soon we will have a modern and completely renovated space, ”explains Luciano Rodriguez, Campina Grande Airport Manager.

Businesses at Campina Grande Airport will provide greater comfort, safety and a better passenger experience. At the end of the renovation, which is scheduled to take place at the end of the first half of 2023, the operating capacity of the building will increase by 100%, which will lead to a change in the infrastructure and services provided, such as increasing the number of stores and food services.
