Animal Nutrition: The French group should buy YesSinergy

The Olmix Group, from France, is close to announcing the purchase of YesSinergy Agroindustrial, an animal feed company from Campinas, with revenues of R$160 million.

The deal should mark the departure of Acqua Capital, the private equity manager who entered the business in 2016, when it invested R40 million in the company. I’ve heard the sources before Brazil Journal He said the manager had been trying to sell Yes for at least three years.

Yes is a biotechnology company focused on feed additives that help replace the use of antibiotics intended for the growth of animals.

The company has three industrial units in São Paulo and a research center in the city of Lucilia, also in São Paulo.

On the other hand, the Olmix Group is present in 120 countries and focuses on the areas of “Animal Care”, in line with what Yes sells, and Plant Care, which focuses on natural solutions to improve soil structure and plant health, and reduce the use of agricultural pesticides.

The company has factories in countries such as France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Romania and Vietnam.

With Yes working, the Olmix group hopes to generate revenue 200 million, of which about 75% comes from animal feed.

Aqua Capital has about $800 million under management and control from companies such as Agrogalaxy, Ultra Cheese, and Biotrop, a manufacturer of biological inputs.
